SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION STRATEGIES
Attention MBA applicants! You do not have to navigate the admissions process alone. The Harvard Club of San Francisco is here to offer you advice, interactive exercises, and some fun evaluations of your candidacy.
On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in San Francisco, Betsy Massar, HBS ’82 and founder of Master Admissions, will present her interactive workshop that has been has been so successful for the past nine years. This year she will be joined by Maria Wich-Vila, HBS ’05, inventor of ApplicantLab, a highly-rated and affordable step-by-step MBA admissions platform. Together, Betsy and Maria demystify the admissions process, and give you the chance to experiment with not just the essay questions, but your differentiation strategy.
At the workshop, you’ll go through exercises to help you identify unique personal and career successes. You will brainstorm ways to tell your own story in an inviting and compelling way. You will join small teams get to know each other, using both the left and the right side of your brain to identify what makes you stand out from just any old applicant.
Successful candidates from past workshops have ended up at Harvard Business School (of course), Stanford GSB, Wharton, Columbia, Berkeley Haas, Chicago Booth, MIT Sloan, and every school on the A-list. Feel free to bring colleagues and friends. Please note – you do not have to be a Harvard graduate to attend!
